Greatest Invention

A little more than a year ago I made a discovery... a little thing called the neti pot! I have had allergies since I was a small child. In the spring time they would get really bad. At times I would be on two or three different allergy medicines just to manage to get through the day. Well, I passed this irritating trait on to my son. He and I would be red eyed, snotty nosed and miserable for two to three months of the year. Last year I happened to watch an episode of Oprah and she was doing a follow up on the neti pot. A couple months before they had introduced this gadget on her show and several of the audience members agreed to try it out and then come back and tell how it worked. To say the least, they all convinced me this was exactly what I needed! I headed down to our local health food store and she had sold the only one she had in stock. She said 10 people had already been into her store asking for it! I guess we all watched the same show. I got on amazon and ordered one. I honestly didn't think Caleb would be able to do it. I mean you pour saline water into one side of your nose and it comes out the other. He surprised me....he could do it all by himself! Within a week we were off all allergy meds and were using the neti pot twice a day. I used warm saline water and it works like magic.

This week Caleb has had a really bad cold with fever and all. We have been doing the neti pot and he is recovering very nicely without meds! The neti pots cleans out all the gross stuff and allows him to breathe. We also have a lot of pollution in our city so it is nice to just clean out all our sinuses!

I highly recommend this little nifty gadget to anyone who has a cold or allergies!
