Loving the weather...wishing we could still swim though.
Boy does this traffic drive me crazy!
Found the deal of the week...really cool leather beanbags for much cheaper than the cheaply made vinyl ones upstairs! So glad I talked the kids into waiting.
KFC was really good but REALLY spicy! Why do they have to do that? A little air conditioner would have helped too.
Bought a new mosquito zapper and I discovered Caleb opening a window to let mosquitoes in, just so that he could kill them!
Wondering if the bats are gone for good...I didn't harm them, I just wanted them gone.
I have never seen a boy so excited to take a shower. Shannon gave him his first container of deodorant and he is beside himself! I think I may have to start watching for facial hair next!
My home school order arrived at the post office today!!! YEA! I can't wait to dig in. I feel like it is Christmas time.
I can't wait to eat the pickled beets and eggs I made tonight. It really must be a southern thing. Anyone else love pickled eggs?? I remember my mom making me a whole jar of pickled eggs one Christmas. I have eaten other things that are pickled that my Hubby makes fun of me for. I won't admit to the whole wild world what it is though. Just remember I have roots that go back to Deep South Louisiana and they eat anything and everything.
I really want to find one of those fish feet eating places to let the fish eat the dead skin off my feet. I know that sounds gross but the kids and I really want to try it.
Some days it seems like yesterday we left Texas, days like today, it seems like forever ago... especially when your daughter gets teary eyed because she misses her cousin so much.
Picture from this week...
It is monsoon!
Oh, the carpet in the background...never take a carpet to be drycleaned the day before monsoon hits. They can't figure out how to dry it and then it smells soured! I finally did get the smell out with vinegar and the fan!
