500th Blog Post

This is my 501 blog post since starting this Joyful Surrender blog.  

Keeping In Touch 

I started this blog as a means to keep in touch with friends and family while we were living overseas.  Just to give them a glimpse into our daily lives.  

As I look back over the blog, I realized what a gift I have given to myself through this blog.  It is a documentation of our journeys overseas.  It has been a journal for me.  

The Name

I chose Joyful Surrender as the title because as I was starting up this blog, I was in the midst of surrendering my comforts of American living to living a life surrendered to my Savoir.  Sometimes in the midst of living a surrender life, joy is lost.  My prayers were that my heart would always be joyful no matter where I live and the circumstances I am in.
