Christmas Cactus

I inherited a Christmas cactus when a family left to return to the States.  I have always loved these plants.  Growing up in West Texas, everything was brown and dead at Christmas time.  This one plant always brought color to our home.  I have tried to keep one of these in my home while living in the States, but usually killed them. 

Keeping plants alive here is so much easier.  Although there is so much color all around us at this time of the year here in the tropics, I have still enjoyed this little bit of color in our home!
