When the temperatures at hoovering at about 100 degrees and you don't own an air conditioner what do you do? You look up places in the nifty little tourist book and stop on any page that says cooler temps! We decided to visit a place about an hour outside of our town that is a hill station. I think hill station means "mountains"! We drove up a rather large narrow and steep mountain. It actually did turn out to be a few degrees cooler, not much, but every degree helps.
Enjoying a restaurant that looks over the mountain!

Isn't this little guy the cutest thing. Look at how his hair parts down the middle. Too bad they turn into mean disgusting little nuisances!
We enjoyed the day with super wonderful friends who helped us celebrate Hubby's birthday in a big way!
This is a really old canon stuck in the ground. Our tour guide thought it would be cute to take this picture. Little Man can't quite figure out what he is suppose to be doing. HA!

This is a scary little cave that we went into. We couldn't see a thing! I kept thinking there must be bats in here. Hubby snapped a picture while we were all in there. Much to my horror...there was something in there!

Remember we couldn't see a thing in this cave, it was completely dark. Look right above the star....rats!!! Right next to little ladies feet!

They had a beautiful garden here too.

This is a poinsettia tree.
