Holi: Festival of ColorsThere are many festivals here in India. We had fun with this one. It is called Holi. It is the celebration of Spring. People throw all sorts of colored powder on each other and then throw water to soak it in! It was actually very calm here in the South. I have heard in the North they go crazy. We had lots of fun with all the colors.
